With the development of the internet, this site was originally created, back in 2001, as an information gateway to whatever is related to our youth hero, Elio De Angelis. It was originally located at http://home.kimo.com.tw/elio11.tw/ on the Yahoo!-Kimo server (Taiwan), then moved to http://elio110.tripod.com/.
Updates and improvements followed, thanks to the help and contribution of fans from all around the world. Furthermore, with the regular traffic and interest generated by the site since its debut, time has come to upgrade the site closer to an official racing driver website level. We regitered the domain name www.eliodeangelis.com and moved to an upgraded website hosting services.
Work on the design is constantly under way in order to provide loyal fans and newcomers to F1 the pleasure to stay with Elio de Angelis for a little more. The spirit of the site, and thus its structure, is to present Elio as if he is still with, because his spririt is without doubt still alive in us.
Again, we would like to thank all who contributed to the site and gave me permission to use their pictures. Without them, this site would not be complete.
